FundRaising.Com has expanded its money-raising methods form licking to clicking

Once a lollipop company, FundRaising.Com recently added an online fundraising mall feature to its Web site, which also has links to its other fundraising programs. Although not the first company to offer an online fundraising option, FundRaising.Com sets itself apart by donation 100 percent of all the affiliate fee revenue it receives to schools and other organizations.
The online fundraising mall concept enables users to log on, select their group, and then link to different e-commerce sites to make purchases. The e-commerce sites award affiliate fees-a sales commission on the actual purchase for each user-to the site through which their site was accessed. These sales commissions can be as much as 30 percent of the total sale. Fundraising mall sites then funnel a portion of the affiliate fee revenues to charitable organizations.
Site visitors can opt to select one of the more than 2.6 million groups in FundRaising.Com’s database or register a new group. The fundraising company has the technology to allow shoppers to designate a group within a school for which funds should be earmarked, such as the high school band. More than 140 online retailers are involved in the fundraising mechanism, including ToysRus.com, ibaby.com, Cooking.com, Buy.com, The Disney Store, Dell and 1-800-Flowers.
The company, previously known as Raddatz Marketing Companies Inc., was established in 1991 by Dick Raddatz and specialized in the sale of lollipops as fundraisers. Since then, the company has increased its product to more than 20 different items, from candy bars to seasonal gifts.
"We want to become the premiere fundraising portal, where people do their fundraising," said Raddatz. "There is tremendous potential for bands and orchestras to make money all year long. The numbers can get pretty big if you can get people actively involved."
